appropriate

playgrounds

your

playgrounds

climb
on

slides
or
monkey
bars.
· Parents–
Watch
your
children.
Watch
your
surroundings
and
call
the
police
if
you
see
suspicious
activity
at
the
park.

in
this

and
age,
some
park
patrons
can not
be
trusted.

DISC GOLF COURSE-
Open to
the Public.
Located at Camp
Catalpa Park.
NO CHARGE There is no charge to play
disc golf- just bring your
own disc. The course was
constructed by the Richmond
Disc Golf Club and was
funded by the City Of
Richmond Parks & Recreation
Department. Discover the
beauty of Camp Catalpa by
walking this 18 hole/9
fairway course. The first
hole is located at the top
of the hill next to the
large shelter. Follow the
signs to the other
fairways. Disc golf is a
game for all ages. Come
see this beautiful park in a
whole new light. Click

VERB SUMMER
SCORE CARD-
Do you have
kids between ages
9-13? This
program is designed
to keep these kids
active in the summer
time. Kids
will get points for
every one hour of
activity they do in
the summer.
They will record
their activity on a
website and will be
eligible for prize
drawings. Be
on the lookout for
more information
regarding this
program in the next
coming months.
This
program is sponsored
by the Madison
County Health
Department in
cooperation with EKU
Physical Education
Dept., Madison
County Extension
Office, Telford
YMCA, Richmond Parks
& Recreation, Berea
Parks and
Recreation, the
Lexington/Fayette
