Richmond Parks & Recreation Master Plan

The Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is conducting a survey to determine the future of parks, facilities, services, and programs. The data from this survey will be used to create a Parks & Recreation Master Plan for the City of Richmond.  This online survey will take around 10 minutes to complete, and your responses will be confidential.  Click on the link below to take this survey.

DISC GOLF COURSE-

Open to the Public.
Located at Camp Catalpa Park.
NO CHARGE

There is no charge to play disc golf- just bring your own disc.  The course was constructed by the Richmond Disc Golf Club and was funded by the City Of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department. 

Discover the beauty of Camp Catalpa by walking this 18 hole/9 fairway course.  The first hole is located at the top of the hill next to the large shelter.  Follow the signs to the other fairways.  Disc golf is a game for all ages.   Come see this beautiful park in a whole new light. Click Here for a Map of the course.

Community Events & Announcements

Handicap Accessible Playground- The Richmond Civitan Club and the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department are still looking for sponsors for this project. If you would like to donate money to this fund, please fill out the attached form.  Click here for the donation form.

AARP Safe Driving Course-  There will also be an AARP safe driving course for seniors at Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center on Thursday and Friday, July 24 & 25, 8:00 to 12:30.  Cost is $10 for materials. This course is designed for drivers over 50. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate which car insurance agencies will honor with a discount.  Call 625-3446 to register.
