Polar Bear Plunge
Madison County
raised
over $1000 for our local
club from plunging into icy
cold waters on January 26th. The Polar Bear Plunge is
a fundraising event for the
Special Olympics of
Kentucky. Participants
raise money and jump into
the icy cold waters for fun!
Madison County Special
Olympics brought home the
Polar Cup in 2008 for having
the most jumpers for a civic
organization.
Thanks to the many
volunteers who helped us
raise so much money!

is for parents or
guardians of
children under age 6
who are
interested in
learning about
available resources
and useful tactics
to use with
children.

conflict management,
behavior management,
and identity theft
and how to prevent
it from happening.

VERB SUMMER
SCORE CARD-
Do you have
kids between ages
9-13? This
program is designed
to keep these kids
active in the summer
time. Kids
will get points for
every one hour of
activity they do in
the summer.
They will record
their activity on a
website and will be
eligible for prize
drawings. Be
on the lookout for
more information
regarding this
program in the next
coming months.
