Holiday Happening Craft Show-

 Friday Dec. 5th from 3pm-8pm
Saturday Dec. 6th from 9am-2pm. 
City Hall- Main Street

Shop for the Holidays with local craft vendors. All items are handcrafted and seasonally themed.  We have 19 vendors who will be set up selling their wares in City Hall. Santa will make an appearance at 10am-1pm.

Treat your child or loved one this Christmas to a visit from Santa!  Only $15 for the first child and $5 for each additional child in the immediate family. Santa, escorted by a Richmond Police Officer, will visit your loved one and will present them with a plush Stuffed Toy.

Breakfast at Santa’s Workshop!

 Come join us December 13, 2008 for Breakfast at Santa’s Workshop!  Experience a magical Christmas at the North Pole featuring fun activities, the world’s best pancakes, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and coffee from Starbucks! Come see Santa, Mrs. Clause and a host of elves! This winter wonderland includes making reindeer food along with other fun-filled activities. Mayor Connie Lawson reads The Night Before Christmas at 10:00 AM.
New for 2008 – a Christmas puppet show!

Madison United Soccer Association (MUSA)
 is proud to announce that we will be the host of the 2008 KYSA Commonwealth Cup!
This is the KYSA-sponsored state rec tournament for U10, U12, U14, and U16 girls and mixed teams.

This rec tournament will be held November 1-2 & 8-9 in both Berea and Richmond at Lake Reba.

85 teams from all over the state will be attending this event!

Nov 1&2 & Nov. 8 & 9.  Madison United Soccer Tournament-

Thursday, November 6th from 6:30 -7:30pm and Tuesday, November 18th from 2:30- 3:30 pm,, Colonel Ed Robinson, from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department will share tips on theft and burglary prevention.  He will discuss how to set up a neighborhood watch, how to record your property’s serial numbers, and how to protect your home if you are on vacation.  The program will be held at the Madison County Extension Center, 230 Duncannon Lane, Richmond.  It is free and open to the public.

On Sunday Nov. 9th , between 2pm and 4pm - Neighborhood 2nd Sunday Event- After the success of the 2nd Sunday Event at Battlefield Park, we want you to encourage your neighbors to run, walk, bike, roller skate or participate in some kind of physical activity. The added benefit from this approach will be to meet neighbors and possibly start some neighborhood exercise groups.  Who knows, this small effort may grow into something enormous.
