25th Annual EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA

Do you or someone you know own a business? Or have your children been a part of the Egg Hunt in previous years? Sponsors are needed to help continue this Family Friendly Community Event in 2010.

Special Olympics Young Athletes Program
Do you know someone ages 2-7 with a developmental or intellectual disability? The Young Athletes program is designed to work on gross motor skills that will help prepare young athletes for future competition in Special Olympic Sports.

Begins: January 27
Richmond Parks & Recreation Gym
Ages 2-7 with an intellectual disability

March- March is Be A Children's Champion Month in Madison County. Take time out of your busy schedule and be a Children's Champion.  For more information or to make a donation please call 623-7233.

March 23- Congratulations to the Madison County Safety Coalition for working together to help designate Madison County as an International Safe Community by the World Health Organization.  This honor has been awarded to only 8 other communities in the United States and is the only one in Kentucky.   A Safe Communities Celebration will be tentatively held on March 23 to celebrate this great achievement.
